There was a time, I was very interested in prominent characters, especially their features and typical gestures. In my cartoon courses my students once experimented as well with famous faces, because they are most suitable to exercice your painting skills with. Unfortunatally I don´t have much time anymore for such things nowadays. Neither for any cartoon courses, nor for time-consuming cartoons of prominent people. I am very proud of these two unique examples, I painted between the years 2000 and 2004. Each one has its own story and without any humour I wouldn´t be able to cope with the seperation.
